Encountering the symbolic landscape of the inner world
Shamanic journeying and guided meditation are structured techniques that help you enter a relaxed, reflective state in which symbolic imagery and inner experiences can arise more naturally.
In many traditional cultures these journeys were understood as entering the spirit world and meeting guides, ancestors or animal helpers.
In my work, these experiences are approached more reflectively — as encounters with meaningful symbolic figures, archetypal imagery and deeper layers of the psyche.
However they are understood, many people find that these journeys bring insight, reassurance and a stronger connection to their own inner wisdom.

What Happens During a Journey
During the session you are gently guided into a relaxed state similar to deep meditation.
From there, imagery often begins to unfold naturally. People may encounter:
• symbolic landscapes or environments
• animals or guiding figures
• archetypal characters
• meaningful objects or messages
• scenes that reflect emotional or life themes
The experience is often vivid and personal, but you remain fully aware and able to describe what you are encountering as the journey unfolds.

Understanding the Experience​
Traditionally these journeys are described as encounters with spiritual guides or the spirit world.
Others experience them more as symbolic expressions emerging from the deeper layers of the psyche.
Both interpretations can be meaningful. In my work, the emphasis is always on exploring the insight and understanding that the experience brings into your present life.
After the journey we take time to reflect on what emerged and how it may relate to the patterns and themes you are currently exploring.

When This Work Can Be Helpful
Shamanic journeying can be especially helpful when you are:

• feeling drawn to symbolic or imaginative exploration

For some people these journeys become a powerful complement to tarot or astrology, offering a more direct experience of symbolic imagery.

Spirit and Ancestral Awareness
Many people feel a sense of connection with loved ones who have died, or with a wider ancestral or spiritual dimension of life.
In my work this aspect is approached gently and thoughtfully. Rather than attempting to deliver dramatic “messages,” the emphasis is on creating a quiet space where you may become aware of your own impressions, memories, symbols or feelings of connection.
For some people this brings reassurance and a sense of continuity. For others it becomes a way of exploring the deeper story of their life and the influences that have shaped them.

A Calm and Supportive Process
Sessions are always approached gently and respectfully.
You remain fully aware and in control throughout the journey, and the experience unfolds at a pace that feels comfortable and supportive.
Most sessions last around 60 minutes, allowing time both for the guided journey and for reflection afterwards.
